      Situated in the heart of Corvedale, the Swan lies in a prominent position on the corner of a road junction, with parking space opposite. There are two distinct comfortable lounges with open fires, and the compact bar leads to a games room for pool and darts events. Good home cooked food compliments the locally sourced ales. There is a large garden for family enjoyment. Dogs are welcome in the garden and bar only. The building dates from the 14th Century and is one of the oldest pubs in Shropshire.

      14th Century inn adjacent to the A456 between Bewdley and Tenbury Wells. Set among the hop gardens of the Teme Valley, this pub provides a pleasant place to enjoy a glass or two whilst enjoying the countryside. The bar with a multitude of timber beams and a low ceiling leads through to a medium sized dining room which is available for private hire. The separate larger dining room is only open for evening meals and Sunday lunches. The pub also produces its own range of pickles and sauces under the Ludlow Pickle Co brand.

      Please don't be put off by your journey down miles of twisting narrow lanes, this remote rural free-house is well worth seeking out for its range of quality real ales and good value meals. The Tally Ho Inn is the quintessential rural pub, set in the delightful hamlet of Bouldon in the heart of the Corvedale, one of the most unspoilt valleys in England. The Tally Ho, surrounded by farmland, is on many walking routes including the Three Castles Walk and the Shropshire Way. First licensed in 1844 it is a busy pub which has served locals and visitors for many generations. It is furnished to recreate its bygone charm with a large array of photos, posters and rural paraphernalia which adorn the walls. The bar with log burner is located in the original part of the pub and the dining area extends towards the rear with access to a beautiful garden with superb views across Corvedale. Note the Greene King sign built into one of the garden walls. Opening Times and Meal service may vary in the summer months depending on demand. The pub operators also run the Pheasant at Neenton, a community pub on the other side of Brown Clee Hill.

      Large pub/restaurant opened in 2020 with an emphasis on good food. Situated in a Georgian building once housing the town's medical practice, a number of side rooms lead off the main bar area. There is a large courtyard and sun-terrace at the rear. There is a separate Bed & Breakfast business on the upper floors of the building.

      Large roadside pub situated in the Low Town area of Bridgnorth. This family focused pub was refurbished in the autumn 2018 to a high standard and is within easy walking distance of Severn park, the river Severn and the town's other attractions. Four handpulls serve two permanent beers and two changing beers, all from the Marston's portfolio. The interior has two distinct areas, one for drinkers and the other for diners, both served by one large central bar. Meals are served in both areas with the dining area having table service, whilst meals for the bar area are ordered at the bar. A very comprehensive menu is available with a lunch time menu being available on Mondays to Fridays 12 - 4pm.

      Bassa Villa dates as far back as 1593 with the name having been derived from the Latin term 'the town in the basin'. It is possible to see exactly why the name was given when you see that The Bassa Villa stands at the bottom of the Cartway which is, and always has been, the main gateway up into 'High Town'. The rooms are all contained within the main building and no matter where you are, you're never too far away from the character of the building. The large Garden is on the bank of the River Severn.

      Almost tucked in under the shadow of the Northgate, this pub has a single bar serving two contrasting areas. One side has sports area with pool table, TV and gaming machine.       Affectionally know as the Bell, this traditional friendly Pub has a small Snug and L-shaped Bar. A beautiful conservatory with bi-fold doors lets the outside in and leads to the partially covered outside courtyard. The Bell is dog friendly and well behaved owners are also welcome. The three Sky Sports boxes can show different matches independently or other sports. The bar is adorned with many traditional features, and has two open fires to warm your cockles in winter time, There is also a log-burning combustion stove in the conservatory. All local bus routes call at Sainsbury's, 200m away in Old Smithfield.

      Multi CAMRA award-winning Grade II listed 17th Century ale house. First licensed in 1790, this pub stands on historic Cartway which links High Town with the quayside. Knowledgeable staff can advise on a range of ales available from up to six handpumps, complimented by traditional bar snacks. The patio at the rear affords views over the river Severn and Bridgnorth landscape. Large filled cobs are usually available all day. The Cliff Railway, England's only inland funicular railway and one of the steepest, is nearby in Underhill Street close to the bus stop.

      Description: First licensed in 1810, this Low Town free-house is a popular pub with all age groups. Nine hand-pulls serve five regular and one or two changing guest beers which include seasonal ales. The hotel has three drinking areas. The extended front bar has a rustic feel but with a modern atmosphere. To the right of the entrance is a large wood-panelled lounge bar which leads to a conservatory. The lounge and conservatory have wide screen TVs, mainly for sporting events which are enthusiastically supported by the regulars. Lunch and dinner are not served but filled rolls are often available. Ensuite bed and breakfast accommodation is available. The external smoking area leads to a long courtyard, pleasant for outdoor drinking with access to the nearby River Severn. The Pay & Display car park is accessed from Severn Street, although pub customers may park free of charge (pay and reclaim from the bar).

      The Bridgnorth Beer Festival will be back from 5th to 7th September 2024, see Bridgnorth Camra website for details. Over 40 cask ales ranging in strength from 0.5% to 10% will be on sale, together with 15 or more real ciders and perries. There will also be a sample of "key-keg" craft ales.

      The Falcon is a historic building located in Low Town area of Bridgnorth. It was originally established in the 17th Century as a Coaching Inn and first licensed in 1851. In Sept 2017 new management took the reigns of this beautiful building and embarked on a major renovation program. The refurbishment project saw the redevelopment and transformation of the ground floor restaurant and bar area into a luxurious space for drinking and dining. The restaurant has an Asian themed menu. Access to the car park at the rear is easiest accessed off Severn Street rather than from the front of the premises through a narrow arch.

      Popular locals' pub in the heart of the Low Town area of Bridgnorth. A busy front bar faces Mill Street. This room is usually packed with locals enjoying sport on TV or playing darts (the pub boasts two teams which play in the local league). Towards the rear of the building, down a corridor there is a comfortable lounge to the left and a pool room at the rear with cast iron tables and chairs. The toilets are located off this room.       A family owned Inn, furnished to a high standard with four star accommodation. There is a large lounge bar featuring exposed beams and real fires with live music on Saturday evenings. To the rear of the bar is a comfortable small snug area. Locally sourced food is served in the lounge and dining area. There is a south facing roadside patio with a small covered area for smokers. The bus stop immediately opposite is served by most of the local bus routes.       This 17th-century Coaching Inn is a traditional town centre Inn with separate public and lounge bars. It was purchased in 2017 by Holden's Brewery, and extensively refurbished. Pictures on the walls of the two comfortable lounge bars record the history of the pub. The public bar is the venue for sports teams. At the rear there is an outdoor patio drinking area near the car park, and a covered smoking area. Cobs available as lunchtime bar snacks.       The Jewel is to be found on Bridgnorth's High Street near to The Northgate, a Wetherspoon pub with strong food sales. Currently all the beers are from national sources: three regular ales and two (sometimes three) from other national sources. In 2019 the toilets were awarded a Platinum rating by the inspectors from the Loo of the Year Awards 2019.

      Popular pub just off the town centre dating from the 17th Century and a short walk from the SVR railway station. The bar has four hand pumps offering local and national ales. Quality meals are served all day throughout the pub. Outside is a heated gazebo and a garden full of flowers in spring and summer. The excellent views make this an ideal spot to drink and dine al-fresco. The pub's reputation for good food at reasonable prices means that it can be very busy. At peak times it may be necessary to suspend service at the bar, service being restricted to people seated at tables. This includes the large number of seats outside in the garden.

      Large roadside restaurant and wedding venue which attracts mainly diners, so there are limited facilities for visitors who require refreshments only. However the AGA-cooked carvery and main meal selections are very good value which is why this pub is so popular. The oak-panelled lounge and a dining area are dominated by a large inglenook fireplace. Other walls divide the rooms into small nooks and crannies; and with many heavy oak timbers they give the pub a very cosy atmosphere. Access is from the roadside part of the pub. The large function room is very popular for family parties, weddings, etc. and is accessed from the large car park. Accommodation is available where guests can enjoy the splendid Shropshire countryside and the beautiful market town of Bridgnorth is only 1 mile away. During the siege of Bridgnorth in 1646 many of Comwell's troops were billeted at this place The main building is 700 years old and was first licensed in 1740 when beer was stored in a tithe barn on the opposite side of the road and conveyed to the pub in jugs. This barn has now been converted in to private residence. The pub was named Ye Olde Punch Bowl Inn in the middle of the 19th century because of its association with the Whig party who were traditionally sherry and punch drinkers.

      The Railwaymans Arms opened in 1861 as a refreshment room a year before the railway itself and has never closed. It is situated on platform 1 of the heritage railway in Bridgnorth. There are nine handpumps serving a selection of local and national real ales, one serving cider or perry. The bars contain lots of railway memorabilia and the platform drinking area is an ideal place to soak up the atmosphere of a steam railway. Very popular at weekends and holidays. There are plans for a major refurbishment when the two rooms will increase to three. The opening hours vary in Winter, when the railway is not operating. For the summer of 2023 the pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except when the railway is operating.

The main staircase leads to the upstairs restaurant dining areas, where there is a choice from an extensive menu, including vegetarian and vegan dishes.       Following extensive and sympathetic refurbishment in 2018 the pub has now been divided by a central bar serving both sides. The bar area has cosy corners and snugs warmed by a log burner fire. The smaller lounge area has french doors opening onto the courtyard which has a large covered area. Off this courtyard is a function room which has been restored with reclaimed oak panelling.       Reopened in April 2021, this old-style locals' pub has been transformed with an emphasis on quality cask ales. There is a single bar accessed directly from Mill St, and a large outside drinking area at the rear. There are two other pubs in the immediate area, both specialising in cask ales, making Low Town an area not to be missed by the real ale connoisseur.

      Reopened in 2023 after a major refurbishment this popular town centre pub has up to 7 cask beers on hand-pump, plus a large range (120) of gins. Most of the beers on offer are not available anywhere else in Bridgnorth and are sourced from micro and regional brewers throughout the land. 'Street' style food is now available (Burgers, Hot dogs, etc) during kitchen opening hours and filled cobs and baguettes are available throughout the day. Inside consists of front and rear seating areas with the bar in the middle. There is a large outside area (with heating) with an entertainment stage at the far end. Said to be the most haunted pub in Bridgnorth with 'The White Lady' being seen on many occasions.

      An established town estate pub completely refurbished throughout in 2015, with a bar and large dining area. To the right of the entrance the bar area retains the old quarry tiles to maintain a traditional bar atmosphere. Please note that this is an adult only drinking area. Three handpulls dispense at least one beer from Wye Valley, Hobsons or Three Tuns breweries. To the left of the entrance there are two comfortable dining areas. Locally sourced products are used to produce a light lunchtime menu, an a la carte evrning menu along with a specials board. There is a large car park and a well laid out beer garden with plenty of seating featuring the Oak Room, a solid oak framed covered area. 9 bedrooms all have en-suite facilities.

      Very popular multi-room pub close to the borders of Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. One centrally located bar serves a front bar, dining rooms and a pool room. There is a large astro-turf area at the front which is covered for drinking, events and live music. A warm friendly local feel when you walk through the door and is packed with character. Although the pub is on the main road it has views across the meadows and over the river Teme and Tenbury itself.

      The Button Oak Inn is at least 300 years old and is at the heart of Button Oak village. The name Button Oak is thought to come from the word 'boothen', the plural of booth - a shelter used by charcoal burners who lived in the area. Charcoal burning was a time consuming occupation with the burners keeping watch over their charcoal mounds for five or six days at a time in order to produce the best quality charcoal. Old pictures on the pub walls show when it was also a petrol station! Inside the pub there is a seating area for diners and a bar for drinkers to prop themselves up on and a cosey seated area around a log burner. In addition to this there is also small rear room for diners. There is a large garden with benches to the side of the building, a large covered smoking area and a courtyard drinking area too. The pub sits in acres of land with Wyre Forest close by which is very popular with walkers/dog walkers and off-road cyclists. The Inn is renowned for its excellent menu and in particular for the carvery twice a day and a traditional pub menu is also on offer. There is an open log fire in winter and 8 high quality letting bedrooms are available. Occasional Live Music is featured, especially during the Bridgnorth Jazz Festival (check Facebook).       Family run 400 year old village pub set in heart of south Shropshire; an area popular for walkers and cyclists enjoying the beautiful countryside and wonderful vistas of the Clee Hills. This pub has been in the same family for nearly 40 years. The pub is not easy to spot from the roadside, so be sure to look for signs on the walls of out buildings and the large car park. Entrance is from an enclosed patio area at the front of the building. When entering take the left hand door into the main bar. The other bar through the right hand door is only used for functions and private parties. The main bar has a low ceiling with exposed timber beams and an open fire. Comfortable seating around the fire makes for a very cosy and relaxing place to sit and enjoy the single real ale on offer. This room has lots of nooks and crannies and ample seating with books and games available to keep yourself and others entertained. The formal but relaxed dining room leads off to the rear of the building, but be sure to be careful of the low beam over the open entrance to this room. The long dining room with table service can seat 20 diners and there is also another room adjacent providing additional seating. Fresh produce is used for a good selection of meals with specials every Friday evening. The Duck is very much part of the local community, and booking is advisable especially for Sunday lunch. The landlady will open the pub early by prior arrangement.

Recently reopened, the pub is undergoing an extensive renovation. Currently only the bar and the Games room are open but it is planned to open the larger lounge sometime in 2024, enabling the provision of food. Due to being Bar only there are currently no facilities for children. Although there is no advertised food service, meals may be available for pre-orders. Its well-proportioned lounge and dining areas are dominated by substantial old timbers of the 16th century stables that once formed part of the hotel fronting the square during that period. Separate booths, now with tables, disclose its original purpose. Old and new blend well with a cosy lounge bar in one corner and a public bar (via steps) around another corner in a later addition to the building. A varied menu with plenty of choice from light lunchtime snacks to substantial evening meals are available using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. As weekends are usually busy it is advisable to book in advance, especially Sunday Lunch. Both staff and regulars are friendly and make this venue well worth seeking out.

The large front terrace area (due for extensive refurbishment following a recent fire) has views over the River Severn whilst enjoying real ales or having a meal from the extensive menu.

Accessed via the main entrance at the rear of the pub, it is awash with elaborate woodwork features reclaimed from local churches and stately homes. There are interconnecting rooms linked to both the main bar and the smaller original bar at the front, and a large dining area. Parts of the pub date from the 13 century: Splendid fireplaces surround the solid fuel stoves. Excellent home cooked food is available from either the main menu or an extensive range of seasonal specials. All the food is locally sourced, as are the beers. Drinkers may also select from an extensive range of malt whiskys and gins. Outside is a large elevated beer garden with excellent views towards Titterstone Clee Hill and Ludlow beyond. A self-contained Holiday Let with its own garden is situated adjacent to the pub. Visitors with Motor Homes are welcome to park-up overnight, please ask the Landlady. When trade is quiet the pub will close ae 2100 or when the last customer has departed.

The pub operators also run the "Tally Ho!" at Bouldon in Corvedale, on the other side of Brown Clee Hill.

Follow a narrow hallway off the dining area, to the outside and climb metal steps and you will find two wonderful patio areas, one with round benches and the other with very fashionable low seating. As well as the irregular 114 bus route which stops at the end of the lane, the hourly Bridgnorth - Wolverhampton bus (No 9) calls on the main Road 800m away.
