The Railwaymans Arms opened in 1861 as a refreshment room a year before the railway itself and has never closed. It is situated on platform 1 of the heritage railway in Bridgnorth. There are eight handpumps serving a selection of local and national real ales, one serving cider or perry. The bars contain lots of railway memorabilia and the platform drinking area is an ideal place to soak up the atmosphere of a steam railway. Very popular at weekends and holidays. The opening hours shown form the base in Winter. If the railway is operating the pub will also open on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. The bus stop is only served by buses on their way into the town except for route 125 to Kidderminster via Bewdley.
