This riverside pub has plenty to offer; from good food to camping and from free-house real ales to fishing. Located in the heart of the Shropshire countryside alongside the banks of the River Severn, it has good value-for-money bed & breakfast, a campsite and self-catering accommodation. The pub consists of a large bar area with an open fire and a large dining room. Outside, the elevated patio with tables and umbrellas provides superb views towards the river and the surrounding countryside. There is also a large well equipped children's play area. Breakfasts are available from 9 am at weekends, also excellent home cooked main meals, blackboard specials and Sunday roasts. A 28 pitch caravan park and an all year round camp site is popular with visitors from the West Midlands and further afield. Events are held throughout the year: classic car and scooter rallies, Nov 5th fireworks, Halloween (see photos!) music etc. premises now has an Instagram account. Hampton Loade station on the famous Severn Valley Railway is a short stroll from the pub and the sound of passing steam trains can be heard.
