Almost tucked in under the shadow of the Northgate, the pub has a single bar serving two contrasting areas. One side has a sports area with a pool table, TVs inside and two gaming machines. The other is tastefully decorated with french windows leading to a neatly laid out garden with a deck patio and flower boarders. The large sun trap garden has a smoking shelter and two large outdoor TVs; it also gives access to the town car park and weekend outdoor market.
