See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

Multi CAMRA award-winning Grade II listed 17th Century ale house. First licensed in 1790, this pub stands on historic Cartway which links High Town with the quayside. Knowledgeable staff can advise on a range of ales available from up to six handpumps, complimented by traditional bar snacks. The patio at the rear affords views over the river Severn and Bridgnorth landscape. Large filled cobs are usually available all day. The Cliff Railway, England's only inland funicular railway and one of the steepest, is nearby in Underhill Street close to the bus stop.
