This village-centre free house known locally as "The Shoes" is run by owners who are enthusiastic about serving quality cask ales. The 2017 refurbishment has exposed many old beams providing a bar area and a separate restaurant room (booking recommended). A large beer garden has views across the Severn valley to the Clee Hills and a pagoda-style smoking area. A quiz night is held on the last Sunday of every month.
