See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

Known locally as the The Dog, this 19th century village inn was formerly called the Greyhound Inn. First licensed in 1800, the property of the Earl of Dartmouth, a principle landowner of this area. It has a separate traditional bar with a low ceiling and a lounge with wood burners leading to a popular dining area. Local ales are served as well as home-made food. No evening meals on Sundays. Follow a narrow hallway off the dining area, to the outside and climb metal steps and you will find two wonderful patio areas, one with round benches and the other with very fashionable low seating. As well as the irregular 114 bus route which stops at the end of the lane, the hourly Bridgnorth - Wolverhampton bus (No 9) calls on the main Road 800m away.
